About SUIKI

SUIKI LIMITED is a UK-based software development company combining AI-driven engineering with Japanese quality principles. Founded in 2021 and based in West Yorkshire, we build software that's fast to ship and built to last.

Our Approach

We use AI as a force multiplier, not a replacement for engineering judgment. Claude Code, Codex, and custom AI workflows let a small team deliver what traditionally requires a much larger one. Every project gets the same attention to security, testing, and infrastructure that enterprise clients expect.

Across every project we run an in-house development harness that ties user stories, acceptance criteria, automated test-quality checks, and security scanning into one loop, so AI-driven speed never comes at the cost of quality. It is the same process behind the work we show. We are exploring making parts of it available to partners; get in touch if that is of interest.

Why Japanese Quality?

Kaizen, Monozukuri, Shokunin: easy words to put on a website. Here is what they mean in our practice. Test-first development is enforced by tooling, not willpower: our hooks block implementation code until a failing test exists. Security hardening ships by default, including fail-closed access control and SSRF defence, whether or not the brief asks for it. And we take on the unglamorous work after launch, modernising legacy systems as old as 15 years, because most of a software product's life happens there.

SUIKI is led by Tak Kawamura, a consultant and engineer with over 10 years of IT delivery for enterprise clients, including project coordination at Square Enix and UK-Japan bridge work for UK energy-tech, managing budgets above £650,000. Based in West Yorkshire. Native Japanese, fluent English. LinkedIn

Partners

SUIKI works as a cross-border team. In Japan we partner with Minna Systems (株式会社みんなシステムズ) for system-development delivery, and with Mise en scène, Inc for Japan-side contracts and product work. You get a single UK point of contact, backed by a tested Japan delivery network.
